Visit the Old Butter Factory Cafe in Bellingen where you can check out the boutique shops, gallery and cafe with its picturesque surroundings. Go shopping in Bellingen township with its unique shops such as The Yellow Shed and The Emporium.

Take one of the nice walks in the Dorrigo area through the lush rainforest including the walk to Crystal Shower Falls, which are amazing. It’s a moderate 50 minute return walk but well worth it.

Another great walk is along the northern break wall of Coffs Harbour out past the marina to Muttonbird Island with great views out over the Pacific Ocean and back towards Coffs Harbour. It is an excellent spot to check out the passing whales during migration season (May to November).

You could also go for a stroll out on the refurbished Coffs Harbour Jetty.

Only twenty minutes down the road The Urunga Boardwalk is another lovely easy walk which takes you out over the lagoon and wetlands to the beach.

Eating is always a good thing to do and there are some really good pubs in the area. Ulmarra Hotel beer garden on the banks of the Clarence River, Gladstone Heritage Hotel with lunch on the balcony overlooking the Macleay River and the Pub With No Beer at Taylors Arm is a beautiful trike ride west of Macksville just to mention a few.

On our north tour will catch the Ulmarra vehicle ferry across the Clarence River to take a beautiful trike ride beside the Clarence River to Grafton.

There is wine tasting to be done at Two Tails Winery and Raleigh Winery, both with beautiful locations. Raleigh Winery has an Alice In Wonderland wine tasting room which is very unique with intricate detail.

The Big Banana is one of the most well-known things to do in Coffs Harbour and has a whole heap of attractions. Why not visit and check out their giant slide, mini golf, ice skating, toboggan, games arcade, 4d simulator, water park, laser tag and much more.

Following the winding road up to Bruxner Park you will be surrounded by the beautiful Orara East State Forest. The Tree Tops Adventure Park is set in the canopy of the forest, with zip lines and various challenges for all skill sets.
