South West Rocks Day Out

On our tour to South West Rocks we will stop at the Urunga Boardwalk for a beautiful walk, after that Wharf Cafe at Nambucca Heads for morning tea [ drink & cake ].

After morning tea is a nice ride to South West Rocks to check out the Historic Trial Bay Gaol and Museum before a very nice lunch at the Beach Hotel and up to Smokey Cape Lighthouse before returning home.

Day Tour West to Dorrigo

Itinerary:

  • We will cruise along Waterfall-Way and up Dorrigo Mountain to Dorrigo Rainforest Centre for morning tea. We will do the Crystal Waterfall walk which is approximately 1 hour return. (medium intensity)

  • We will then head to the beautiful Dangar Falls and Dorrigo township. Great photo opportunity.

  • Leaving Dorrigo we will cruise back down the mountain to Bellingen’s famous ‘Old Butter Factory’ where we will have lunch.

  • After Lunch you will have some time to wonder Bellingen main street for some retail therapy or maybe some dessert at a highly recommended ice-cream store.

  • We will head south to Urunga and take a stroll along the Beautiful Board walk which is among the best on the East Coast

  • Next we will travel along the scenic route to Nambucca Heads, taking in the magnificent scenery, before having morning tear at the ‘Wharf Street Cafe’ overlooking the river

  • After morning tea we will head to the must see ‘Slim Dusty Centre’ full of amazing memorabilia from the Kirkpatrick family.

  • After visiting the Slim Dusty Centre we will go to the Gladstone ‘Heritage Hotel’ for Lunch before cruising home.

  • Woolgoolga for morning tea via Moonee Beach and Emerald Beach taking in the sights.

  • After morning tea we are of to the Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre check out the local aboriginal art gallery.

  • Next stop is the historic river port town of Ulmarra with heritage buildings and unique shops with lunch at the hotel.

  • From Ulmarra we will catch the Clarence River car ferry across and onto Grafton to cruise the town, look the street art on the old bridge and Jacaranda’s if in season.

  • Return via Glenreagh, Nana Glen and Coramba.
